Marin Brewing’s Brewmaster Arne Johnson has picked today to tap his newest brew, Rotten To The Core. Rotten To The Core is a strong wheat ale that has been aged in bourbon barrels for a year with Apple Juice and Brettanomyces Lambicus (Wild Yeast).

Catawba Brewing releases a Small Batch Raspberry Brown Bear (5.2 percent ABV) on Friday, October 13. This is the first of six specialty variations on their flagship English Brown Ale, to be released monthly through March. Brewed in Asheville, the beer will be available at all four Catawba tasting rooms, and in limited distribution.
Stone Brewing’s distributing division, Stone Distributing Co., will donate a portion of its sales throughout the month of October to benefit those affected by the devastation of the Northern California fires.
