Marin Brewing Taps ‘Rotten to the Core’

LARKSPUR, Calif. — Proving once and for all there’s no such thing as a rotten apple, Marin Brewing’s Brewmaster Arne Johnson has picked today to tap his newest brew, Rotten To The Core.

Rotten To The Core is a strong wheat ale that has been aged in bourbon barrels for a year with Apple Juice and Brettanomyces Lambicus (Wild Yeast). The result is a smooth but flavorful sipper with the apple, bourbon, wheat and mild bretty funk coming together in a beautiful balance to create an exquisite seasonal beer. At 9.5 % ABV, RTTC has a warming, boozy edge that will lead to an evil grin.
