Short’s Brewing is giving beer buyers a reason to do their holiday shopping early. The Michigan craft brewery has struck a multiyear licensing deal with Warner Brothers for the intellectual property to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, which Short’s will use to launch a variety 12-pack later this year.

Short’s Brewing is celebrating two decades in Bellaire, Michigan this year. The craft brewery makes a range of beers, from its flagship Local’s Light, to Bloody Beer, a Bloody Mary-inspired beer, and produced nearly 44,000 barrels of beer in 2023, according to the Brewers Association.

How much awesome can you pack into three months? If you’re Short’s Brewing, the answer is a whole heckin’ lot.

While the craft brewing industry saw record numbers over the two-year pandemic haze, 2022 ushered in record lows for many.
