Ninkasi Brewing Company, an independent craft brewery based in Eugene, Oregon, has refreshed the packaging for its bottle beer lineup to match the new brand vision rolled out last year with the introduction of Ninkasi beer in cans. The new packaging coincides with the release of Ninkasi Pilsner and the re-release of Oatis, brought back by popular demand.

Ninkasi Brewing Company, an independent craft brewery based in Eugene, Oregon, has launched a new brand of hard seltzer. Pacific Sparkling is a craft-brewed seltzer inspired by the spirit of the Pacific Northwest and a love for the outdoors.

Oregon’s Ninkasi Brewing has sold a majority stake to Legacy Breweries Inc., an upstart venture led by former Yakima Chief CEO Don Bryant, that aims to acquire U.S. craft breweries. Specific financial terms of the deal, which will close at the end of April, were not disclosed.

Another longtime Ninkasi Brewing executive has left the building. In an email to Brewbound, Ninkasi co-founder and CEO Nikos Ridge confirmed that CFO Nigel Francisco left the Eugene, Oregon-based craft brewery in June, after about a decade, in order to pursue a similar role with King Estate Winery, which is also located in Eugene. In an unrelated move, the craft brewery also laid off three employees in the marketing and communications departments, Ridge confirmed.

Ninkasi Brewing co-founder Nikos Ridge is back at the helm as CEO of the Eugene, Oregon-based craft brewery after just one year away from the position. In a press release issued last Friday, the company said Cheryl Collins, who took over as CEO of the company last May, would step down from the post on June 18.

Crafted for warm weather, Ninkasi Brewing Company brings back its sunny seasonal, Maiden the Shade Summer IPA, and launches its new Summer IPA Variety 12-Pack, featuring a mix of the brewery’s best IPAs in bottles and cans.
