A beer festival celebrating wild, funky and sour beer styles with our brewery friends

It's time to get wild, funky and even a little sour — but in the best way possible. On Saturday, September 30th, we're bringing together friends from near and far for our inaugural Celebration of Funk beer festival at the brewery. Join us and our brewer friends from around the country who specialize in wild, sour and funky beers, and also know how to have a great time.

For those looking for the ultimate festival experience, on Friday night, September 29th, we're hosting a four-course VIP dinner in our oak-aging cellar pairing our wild and funky beers with a specially prepared dinner from Nobel House. A very limited number of seats will be available for this dinner for $145 each, with dinner tickets including VIP access to Saturday's festival along with the opportunity to purchase wild bottles that will be on sale and a special edition Celebration of Funk glass.

If you miss out on those, don't worry, here's the rest of the party:

VIP hour will be from 1-2pm and tickets will cost $80 each and include 20 sample pours. Additional pours will be available for purchase.
General admission tickets are $60 each and will run from 2-6pm and include 15 pours. Additional pours will be available for purchase.
A limited number of Designated Driver tickets will be available for $10 each.
Bruges Brothers and BopBar food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase.
FreshGround will be here to help keep you caffeinated.
164 Brewing will be here with their locally made craft soda for those seeking a palate cleanser and for DD ticketholders.
Tickets are ON SALE NOW and can only be purchased online. Tickets include a commemorative tasting glass. We encourage public transportation via Metra — we are a few short blocks from the Geneva station on the Union Pacific West line. It's totally walkable, but we're providing a free shuttle so you can save your legs for walking booth to booth at the fest.

Here's a few of our friends who will be attending:

2nd Shift Brewing, 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, Allagash Brewing Company, Arclight Brewing Company, Avery, Blue Blood Brewing Company, Brewery Vivant, Central State, Cruz Blanca, DESTIHL Brewery, Forager, Funk Factory Geuzeria, Half Acre Beer Company, Lost Abbey, Mantra Artisan Ales, Marz Community Brewing, Mikerphone Brewing, Off Color Brewing, Oud Beersel, Penrose Brewing, Perennial Artisan Ales, Pollyanna Brewing Company - Roselare, Rivertown Brewing Company, Sun King Brewery, The Sour Note Brewing, Three Floyds, Two Brothers, Une Annee, Upland Brewery, Werk Force Brewing Co., Whiner Beer Company, Woodfour Brewing Company, and more.

A portion of proceeds from the festival go to benefit LLK Foundation. Founded in 2012, the mission of the LiveLikeKatie Foundation (LLK) is two-fold; a reminder of how to live, and an organization committed to raising money for cancer research. It is our goal, our hope, that in the future we can hear our doctors say, “Good news. It’s cancer and we can cure this.”
