Lawson’s Finest Liquids will celebrate GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to radical generosity, by donating $100,000 across 69 nonprofit organizations. Marking the B Corp Certified brewery’s most impactful GivingTuesday yet, the 2025 donation will support a range of causes across Vermont with amounts of up to $10,000 going to organizations focusing on food and economic security, healthy communities, natural resource protection, and sustainable recreation.

With 35% of this year’s donation supporting nonprofits that fight hunger and food insecurity, the largest single donation will go to the Vermont Foodbank, the state’s largest hunger-relief organization and only food bank that provides 14 million pounds of food annually to people throughout Vermont.

"Vermont has a long history of neighbors taking care of neighbors. When we recently saw a delay in federal food benefits, and in the past with floods, emergencies, and economic disruptions, people across Vermont stepped up to ensure that neighbors experiencing food insecurity could access the food they need," said John Sayles, CEO of Vermont Foodbank. "We are grateful to have partners like Lawson's Finest who are committed to working alongside Vermont Foodbank and our network of partners across the state to ensure everyone has the food they need to thrive.”

In addition to Vermont Foodbank, the recipients of this year’s Sip of Support donations include several nonprofits and community partners fighting food insecurity: Mad River Valley Community Pantry, BROC Community Action, Vermont Farmers Food Center, Conscious Homestead, Salvation Farms, and Waterbury Rotary Club.

“The uncertainty and vulnerability of our food safety nets that was highlighted during the recent government shutdown and subsequent delay in SNAP funding is impacting our community,” said Lawson’s Finest Liquids CEO Adeline Druart. “As a B Corp and a Vermont business, we feel it is essential to use our business as a force for good and support these changemakers who are working hard to serve people’s needs. We are calling on our colleagues, Vermont businesses and community members to join us in donating to their local food shelf, volunteering time and helping feed their neighbors.”

The milestone donation by Lawson’s Finest Liquids is made possible by the brewery’s Social Impact Program (The SIP), which encompasses five major initiatives: Sip of Support, the brewery’s program that funds its GivingTuesday donations; Good Brews for a Cause; Great Place to Work; Sunshine Fund; and Green is Grand. Together, they work towards the goal of building impactful connections, strengthening communities, and stewarding the environment.

To date, Lawson’s Finest Liquids has donated $3 million to over 400 non-profit organizations through its Social Impact Program. Released annually in the spring, the brewery’s 2024 Impact Report offers accountability and a transparent look into The SIP.

The Lawson’s Finest team encourages individuals to brew something good in their own communities and participate in GivingTuesday, whether that means volunteering, making a monetary donation to a local cause, promoting awareness or supporting a local business.
