Seattle Cider Taproom Announces Stoup Brewing as December Featured Brewery
Featured brewery collaboration underscores Seattle Cider's ongoing commitment to supporting local craft and community
SEATTLE, WA: December 2025 — Seattle Cider Company is proud to announce Stoup Brewing as the December featured brewery at the Seattle Cider Taproom. The collaboration kicked off on December 1, 2025 and will showcase an extended lineup of Stoup's beers across multiple tap lines, alongside weekly tasting flights, giveaways, and opportunities to meet both teams.
As part of the launch, Seattle Cider Taproom will host a Meet the Team from Stoup Event on Wednesday, December 10 from 4–8 PM, inviting guests to connect directly with staff from both Seattle Cider and Stoup Brewing.
This featured brewery program is part of Seattle Cider's renewed focus on collaboration and community building within the Northwest craft beverage scene. Since the closure of sibling brewery Two Beers Brewing in early 2024, Seattle Cider Taproom has continued to highlight local craft breweries and keep beer front-and-center as part of the taproom experience.
"Seattle's craft beverage culture is built on connection, creativity, and supporting one another," said Felix Madrid, Seattle Cider General Manager. "We've always believed that community is at the core of great cider and great beer, and we're committed to having a taproom that celebrates both. Our taproom will be like a satellite taproom for Stoup throughout December."
Guests can expect rotating taps of Stoup's core favorites, seasonal specialties, and limited releases not often available outside their three King County locations (Ballard, Capitol Hill, and Kenmore). A new themed tasting flight will be introduced each week to encourage exploration and highlight the breadth of the brewery's portfolio.
More than a tap takeover, this collaboration reflects Seattle Cider's belief that great craft experiences are built through connection. By sharing space and elevating one another's products, both cider and beer can thrive. Seattle Cider Taproom will essentially act as a satellite taproom for Stoup throughout December; this level of collaboration strengthens the Northwest craft beverage community as a whole.
"Seattle Cider Company has been an enthusiastic supporter of local craft beer, and we're thrilled to take part in this joint effort," said Lara Zahaba, Owner, Stoup Brewing. "Collaborations like this remind us why the PNW craft beverage community is so special; we show up for each other."
Seattle Cider Taproom continues to serve a robust beer program featuring independent Northwest brewers and a diverse rotating cider menu that includes everything from the core lineup to experimental ciders exclusive to the taproom. Ultimately, the goal for the taproom is to serve as a welcoming gathering point for craft fans of all kinds.
A full schedule of events and rotating beer features will be shared throughout the month at the link below and on social via @SeattleCiderTaproom and @StoupBrewing. Craft fans won't want to miss everything planned for December.

About Stoup Brewing
Opened in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Brad Benson and Lara Zahaba together with Robyn Schumacher - Stoup is a lifelong dream realized by three friends who love all things food and drink. More than a family-friendly brewery, the taprooms embrace the fundamental essence of beer: a means of bringing people together, one pint at a time.
At Stoup, our craftsmanship is a testament to our commitment to the art and the science of beer. As scientists, we hold the microorganisms and chemical processes that create beer in the highest esteem. As artists, we revel in a good pour. The dual disposition honors traditional styles perfected by earlier brewmasters as well as elevates craft brewing by continually seeking a better pint.
