Empire Brewing Company broke ground this past Friday, May 8th 2015, to begin construction on the Empire Farmstead Brewery – a new manufacturing and agri-tourism facility in Cazenovia, New York. When completed, the 28,000 square-foot Empire Farmstead Brewery will be the largest farm brewery of-its-kind in New York State, with a major agri-tourism component.
Widmer Brothers Brewing today announced the release of its new summer seasonal offering, Hefe Shandy. Hefe Shandy pays homage to the brewery’s flagship beer, Hefe, playing on the ritual of adding a lemon to the rim, which dates back to the creation of the beer in 1986.
Everybody’s Brewing will be adding a third style of beer to their can lineup with the addition of the Local Logger Lager. The cans will be available first at their Brewpub in White Salmon, WA starting May 15th, followed by the Portland premiere at Belmont Station on May 26, and a second release at Hollywood Beverage on May 29th.
