Sierra Nevada Communications Coordinator, Bill Manley, confirmed that Bonnaroo Brew, an American farmhouse ale, was made for the fest.
“We are a sponsor of the Bonaroo festival and we are making a beer for the fest,” said Manley. “An American farmhouse ale, this beer is light, blonde, super dry and easy-drinking. It is made with a blend of saison yeast and our house Chico strain – perfect for a hot Tennessee summer day.”
In addition to Bonnaroo Brew, the Northern-California brewery is also releasing Hop Smack Double Black IPA, a beer camp brew that will make its debut on draught at various accounts across the country over the next few weeks. Manley said that only about a dozen accounts will receive the beer but could not confirm which specific accounts will be serving it.
