Rogue Ales & Spirits Releases Santa’s Private Reserve

NEWPORT, Ore. — Santa’s Private Reserve, the annual collaboration between Rogue Ales & Spirits and Santa Claus hits shelves this month. The beer is always packed with enough cheer to supply any holiday party and this year the 2018 vintage of Santa’s Private Reserve is a Belgian dark ale packed with tangerines and boysenberries.

“This year we wanted to be bold and different,” says Rogue Brewmaster John Maier. “So I brewed old St. Nick a Belgian-style beer with a Rogue twist and put his jolly face on the bottle.”

“It’s the perfect beer to drink while double-checking a certain list,” says Claus.

Santa’s Private Reserve is best when enjoyed with friends, family, and reindeer. The combination of spicy Belgian yeast and roasty malts with the tartness from boysenberries and tangerines captures the flavors of the season.

Santa’s Private Reserve is available now through the new year in 22-ounce bottles and on draft.

About Rogue Ales & Spirits

Rogue Ales & Spirits, the only farmer-brewer-distiller-cooper in the United States, was founded in Oregon in 1988 as one of America’s first microbreweries. Rogue has won more than 1,900 awards for taste, quality and packaging, and is available in all 50 states as well as 54 countries. Proudly rooted in Oregon soil, Rogue’s beers, spirits, and sodas are made with ingredients grown on Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. Rogue Spirits are hand-distilled on a 550-gallon still in Newport, Oregon, aged in the thick ocean air of the Yaquina Bay and bottled by hand. Since 2008, Rogue has shared the terroir of Oregon by growing its own hops, barley, rye, wheat, honey, cucumbers and pumpkins and using them in beers.
