But that doesn’t mean Kashper, who together with TSG Consumer Partners, a private equity firm with offices in San Francisco and New York City, purchased the 172 year-old Pabst Brewing Company at the end of 2014, isn’t thinking like an entrepreneur.

Helm’s Brewing Company is moving towards the ocean with a brand new satellite tasting room in Ocean Beach, CA. This anticipated project will be the second location for Helm’s Brewing Company after being open for three and a half years in Kearny Mesa. Located on the corner of Newport Ave. and Cable St, this 1,100 square feet project will include 16 taps of Helm’s Brewing beer along with garage door style bar seating on the busy Newport Ave.
Creature Comforts Brewing Company will package its year-round Pilsner, Bibo, in cans for the first time in early May. Bibo will join Tropicália (American IPA) and Athena (Berliner Weisse) as the third year-round offering to be made available in cans. Bibo cans are set to release in Athens the weekend of May 7 during the Twilight Criterium

Few beer festivals can boast a 20-year existence, and that’s why Anderson Valley Brewing and the Marin Brewing Company have collaborated on a new beer that will debut at the festival.

Shares of Boston Beer (SAM) hit a 52-week low today, with stocks plummeting more than 8 percent after the company reported subpar first quarter earnings following yesterday’s market close. As a result, the nation’s second largest craft beer company lowered its expectations for 2016 during a formal earnings call with investors and analysts last evening — reporting sales well below previously projected targets for the first quarter of the year.
