Perrin Brewing Expands Distribution to Chicago

Perrin Brewing joins Windy City Distributing to introduce the Perrin brand to the craft beer scene of Chicago. Perrin, based in Comstock Park, Michigan will kick-off the launch offering Black Ale, 98 Problems IPA, Blackberry IPA and Pack of Problems.

Crown Holdings Inc. Reduces Energy Consumption by 5.3 Percent in 2016

In 2016, the Company announced its plan to reduce energy consumption by 5% per billion standard units of production from 2015 levels by the end of 2020. As of December 31, 2016, Crown has reduced energy consumption by 5.3% per billion standard units. Absolute energy consumption has decreased by 1.3% while the Company increased production by over 4.2%.

Saint Benjamin Brewing Company to Can River City German-Style Oktoberfest Lager

On Monday, August 21, pioneering craft brewery Saint Benjamin Brewing Company will can River City, their authentic German-style Oktoberfest lager. The new canned beer will join their flagship Pilsner Prosim, which earned the Philadelphia Inquirer’s audience-choice award for “Best Flagship Beer” in Craig LaBan’s eighth-annual Brewvitational (click for details) earlier this year.

Nine Pin Cider Expands Distribution to Connecticut

Nine Pin Cider Works, New York’s first farm cidery, has announced they will begin distributing their cider products throughout the State of Connecticut in partnership with the Berkshire Brewing Company (BBC). Nine Pin’s entry into Connecticut marks the second state, following Massachusetts, where Nine Pin Cider can be found outside of the company’s home state of New York. Starting this month, Connecticut cider drinkers will begin to find Nine Pin cans, bottles, and draft options at select locations.
