Portland Cider Co. Releases Cranberry Seasonal

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Cider Company has released its popular Cranberry cider to its lineup of seasonal ciders. The cider features just two ingredients: a fermented blend of fresh cranberries from Everest Farms in Bandon, Ore., and fresh pressed Northwest apple juice. The result is a medium sweet and slightly tart cider, reminiscent of a cranberry relish.

“Our cranberry cider this year is better than it has ever been,” stated owner Jeff Parrish. “This marks our third year producing this cider with fresh cranberries from Everest Farms, and our experience from previous years has taught us how to get the most from their fruit. The result is absolutely delicious!”

With notes of orange zest, a tart finish, and a beautiful red color, this full-bodied cider is the ideal complement to the Thanksgiving meal. It pairs well with turkey – especially smoked turkey – spinach salad, meatloaf, and buttery, soft cheeses like brie.

Celebrating the Northwest’s bounty, Portland Cider Co.’s seasonal ciders are inspired by local farmers and based on harvest times. Cranberry joins the seasonal bottle lineup that includes Pineapple, Strawberry, and Pumpkin Spice.

Portland Cider Co.’s Cranberry cider is available now through December in 22 oz. bottles and draft kegs. It can be purchased at either of the company’s two taprooms, as well as at select retailers in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
