Craft Brewers across the Southeast and Texas are hoping to change liquor distribution laws that currently prevent small breweries from selling beer from their breweries directly to consumers for off-premise consumption. Currently, Texas brewers, led by St. Arnold Brewing Co. founder Brock Wagner, are mounting a legislative challenge against their state’s laws.
Goose Island is officially migrating all over the country. The Chicago Tribune reported Friday afternoon that the Anheuser-Busch InBev owned craft brewery will be available, on draught, in all 50 states by the end of November. Maui Brewing Co. continues to make progress on its expansion plans noting in its most recent press release that it “will be building a new production facility and brewpub on Maui.” In the meantime, the company has added two new fermentation tanks to help keep up with existing demand.

The Massachusetts Brewers Guild will be hosting its 3rd annual Mass Brewers Guild Fest on Friday, August 24th.
