Denver Beer Co. today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Beverage Distributors Company (BDC) to distribute cans, bottles and kegs to on and off premises retailers throughout the state of Colorado. This partnership will enable Denver Beer Co. to reach retailers from Boulder to Monument for the remainder of 2015 and service liquor stores throughout the entire state of Colorado by early 2016.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finally issued guidance on menu labeling requirements for retail chain operations and small breweries are likely to take a financial hit. The new menu labeling rules require restaurants and foodservice establishments with more than 20 locations to disclose the caloric value and supplementary health criteria of beer, as well as other food and drinks, sold on-premise and will take effect on Dec. 1, 2016.

It is no surprise that the team at Diamond Knot Craft Brewing has concern for the many people affected by the fire devastation in Eastern and Central Washington. What was a surprise to some of the team was that one of its own was over on the other side of the state helping with the coordinated fire efforts.
Oskar Blues yesterday reported strong growth through the first eight months of 2015, as the brewery continues to add capacity, expand its portfolio, and fill out its national sales footprint. Year-to-date, depletions are up 28 percent, the company said.
