Another member of MillerCoors’ Tenth & Blake division is setting up shop near a Major League Baseball stadium. Texas’ Revolver Brewing plans to open a brewery inside the forthcoming entertainment district being developed by the Texas Rangers and the Cordish Companies in Arlington, Texas.

Second Self Beer Company Launches JunIPA and Devil’s Molé in Cans

Atlanta-based Second Self Beer Company’s seasonal JunIPA and Devil’s Molé beers are launching in cans for the first time. Both beers will be available in restaurants, bars, and shops around Georgia in mid-November, and are currently on tap at Second Self’s brewery in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhood (1317 Logan Circle NW).

Cape May Brewing Company Releases Three Plows IPA

As part of their commitment to sourcing locally, Cape May Brewing Company is pleased to announce a modern first in the state of New Jersey: a beer made with all New Jersey-cultivated ingredients. Releasing from their Tasting Room at 1288 Hornet Road in Cape May on November 10th, Three Plows IPA will contain hops from Laughing Hops Farms in Pennington, malt from Rabbit Hill Farms in Shiloh, and yeast from East Coast Yeast in Hillsborough.

When Concrete Beach Brewery opened up its annual What Brews You competition for creative beer flavors, Erik Durr of Virginia Gardens had a hunch his idea of combining tropical fruits with a saison, one of his favorite beer styles, would be tasty, and he was right. The idea caught the attention of the brewing team and his Guava Lychee Saison was chosen as this year’s winner. It will be available for the first time at the Social Hall and select bars across Miami starting in mid-November.

CBA Earnings: Continued Kona Growth Offsets Steep Redhook and Widmer Declines

Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) today released its third quarter earnings results, which were highlighted by a 12.7 percent increase in Kona Brewing shipments and a portfolio-wide net sales growth of 1.1 percent percent compared to the same period in 2015. In a press release, CEO Andy Thomas once again touted the company’s “Kona Plus” strategy — one that combines a nationwide sales effort for the Hawaiian-themed brand with a regional sales approach for strategic partners Cisco Brewers and Appalachian Mountain as well as the more established Widmer Brothers and Redhook labels.
