Wet Powder is a wet-hopped version of Fresh Powder 100% Citra Double IPA, brewed during harvest season with whole cone Citra hops that were flown in overnight by the Virginia Beer Co.’s hops providers at Yakima Chief in the Pacific Northwest.

Galactic Detour is the first collaboration between Benchtop Brewing Company in Norfolk, VA and The Virginia Beer Company in Williamsburg, VA.

On Friday, August 23, The Virginia Beer Company is releasing 39 Words. This “Super Saison” (brewed with Blueberry Puree, Raspberry Puree, and Lemon Zest) was designed and brewed by the Women of the Virginia Beer Co. to celebrate Women’s Equality Day 2019 (commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution).

With a year over year average production capacity increase of over 20%, the Virginia Beer Co. is poised for another summer of growth with the addition of its first 90 bbl brite tank and first 90 bbl fermenter. In addition, the brewery recently installed a new 60 bbl fermenter (its sixth).

The Cellar Circus is a new oak barrel-fermented permutation series concocted by the brewers of the Virginia Beer Co.

As part of a three-year anniversary kick-off the opposite of bogus, the Virginia Beer Co. has teamed with the righteous dudes and dudettes from Hardywood to collaborate on Michael & Jason’s Excellent Adventure — a Gin & Tonic inspired Double India Pale Ale brewed with Juniper Berries, Coriander and Lemon Peel.

Each year as we prepare to celebrate another milestone along the journey that so many of you have been a part of since we opened in March 2016, the Virginia Beer Co. releases Waypost Anniversary Imperial Stout.

Slopes open on Feb. 2 for the return of Fresh Powder. Draft and large format cans of The Virginia Beer Company’s seasonal 100 percent Citra Double India Pale Ale return at noon on Saturday, Feb. 2.
