DENVER, CO — On Monday, March 11, Wynkoop Brewing Company will release a hand-canned version of its world-famous Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout. “This is another seminal moment in our 25 years of small-batch liquid art,” says Wynkoop’s Marty Jones. Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout made its debut during last year’s Great American Beer Festival.

DENVER, CO – Wynkoop Brewing Company is now self distributing its fourth hand-canned craft beer — Belgorado Belgian-Style India Pale Ale — in the Denver area. The small-batch, Belgium-meets-Colorado beer combines the wonders of two of the world’s best beer cultures with Wynkoop’s artisan brewing and farm-to-fermenter thinking.

What initially began as an April Fool’s Day prank has turned into reality. The Denver-based Wynkoop Brewing released a spoof video on April 1st which indicated that the company would be making a beer with bull testicles.

Craft beer took center stage last night at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) as Bill Butcher; the owner of Alexandria, Virginia-based Port City Brewing spoke on behalf of small business owners in support of President Barack Obama. “Our President has fought for small business owners and now it’s time to fight for him,” Butcher said.

DENVER, CO — Wynkoop Brewing Company is now serving a new beer brewed in honor of the 120th anniversary of the opening of Denver’s famed Brown Palace Hotel & Spa. 1892 Artesian Lager is a custom-made, retro-minded beer brewed with water from the underground aquifer that supplies the Brown Palace’s water.

Last week, Wynkoop Brewing released Brewjolais Nouveau, a collaborative effort with New Belgium’s brewmaster Peter Bouckaert. The creative ‘beer-meets-wine’ concept is a riff on Beaujolais Nouveau, a red wine made from grapes in the Beaujolais region of France and typically released on the third Thursday of November.
