Maui Brewing Co - Brewery & Restaurant

Lahaina, Maui — Maui Brewing Co. will be the main featured brewery in tonight’s episode of “Brew Dogs” on the Esquire Network. Hosts James and Martin join Maui Brewing’s Garrett Marrero in a quest to brew the “Ultimate Hawaiian Beer”.

Greg Koch began the first day of his four-month sabbatical like any typical businessman would, by launching yet another business in Hawaii. While we’re pretty sure the new joint venture with Maui Brewing Company will afford time for Koch to work on his tan, Maui — Stone Craft Beverages (as its being called) will initially distribute about 12 craft beer brands on the island of Maui.

Amid construction of a new brewing facility that will double its current capacity, Maui Brewing Co. has added to its executive team. Last week, the company announced the hiring of Peter Scheider as its new National Sales Manager.

Maui Brewing Co. continues to make progress on its expansion plans noting in its most recent press release that it “will be building a new production facility and brewpub on Maui.” In the meantime, the company has added two new fermentation tanks to help keep up with existing demand.

Yesterday, we wrote that Maui Brewing Co. is close to finalizing a deal on new property that will triple the brewery’s current footprint. The new space and expanded brewhouse will allow the the company to increase production over 100,000 barrels annually. We also noted a few new limited-release offerings scheduled to hit shelves throughout 2012.
