Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing (CCB) has announced the introduction of Wedge Cut, an American Wheat Ale brewed with lemon peel and Lemon Drop hops, as a seasonal offering.

After a year-long collaborative vision quest, Cigar City and Firestone Walker are set to unveil Los Leñadores—an imperial brown ale aged in high rye bourbon barrels and infused with African and Brazilian hardwood spirals.

After growing dollar sales 14.8 percent last year, the Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective’s double-digit growth trends are continuing in early 2019. Off-premise dollar sales of products from the Fireman Capital-backed brewery consortium — whose brands include Oskar Blues, Cigar City, Deep Ellum, Perrin Brewing, Three Weavers, and Utah Brewers Cooperative (Wasatch and Squatters) — are up more than 29 percent through February 24, according to IRI’s multi-outlet and convenience store channel.

Cigar City Brewing (CCB), one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the U.S., has announced the addition of the CCB Mixed 12-Pack to its year-round offerings. Total U.S. beer dollar sales grew to more than $35 billion in 2018, according to retail data provider IRI. The Chicago-based market research firm, which tracks category-wide sales at major off-premise retailers, reported a 1.8 percent increase in beer dollar sales, despite a 0.3 percent decline in volume sales at multi-outlet and convenience (MULC) stores (grocery, drug, club, dollar, mass-merchandiser and military) through December 30.

Oskar Blues Brewery and Cigar City Brewing are stoked to announce the release of their innovative new collaboration beer, Bamburana. The imperial stout, brewed with figs and dates, is double barrel-aged – in both whiskey and brandy barrels – and aged once more in tanks with Amburana wood spirals.

Following a record year for sales and growth in 2018, Cigar City Brewing (CCB) has announced its expansion into the Ohio market in January 2019. Jai Alai IPA and Guayabera Citra Pale Ale will be available in both kegs and 12oz cans.

International expansion continues for Cigar City Brewing with the addition of the United Kingdom to the Tampa-based brewery’s distribution network. CCB has partnered with James Clay, the UK’s leading craft beer distributor, to distribute its ale and lager offerings, including award-winning Jai Alai IPA, throughout Britain.
