Whether you're an expert in the industry or an amateur baker, this event will help you learn the art and science of growing and milling grains, baking artisan breads and brewing delicious beer.

As the flagship event of the Maine Grain Alliance since 2007, the Kneading Conference brings together farmers, millers, bakers, maltsters, researchers and grain enthusiasts from across the country for two days of educational workshops and hands-on learning to preserve and promote grain traditions, from earth to hearth. Whether you're an expert in the industry or an amateur baker, this event will help you learn the art and science of growing and milling grains, baking artisan breads and brewing delicious beer.

New to this year's event, the Kneading Conference will be held at the Kennebec Valley Community College, just 15 miles from Skowhegan. Attendees choose from hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions and more.

The Maine Grain Alliance looks to preserve and promote grain traditions, from earth to table. The Alliance connects people and supports the economic, environmental and nutritional importance for establishing regional grain economies.
