After nearly 50 percent volume growth in 2011, Left Hand Brewing will look to add another 18,000 barrels in 2012. The Longmont, Colo. based company is currently in the midst of a ten year facility expansion plan that will bring total brewing capacity to 250,000 barrels.

Yesterday, we wrote that Maui Brewing Co. is close to finalizing a deal on new property that will triple the brewery’s current footprint. The new space and expanded brewhouse will allow the the company to increase production over 100,000 barrels annually. When Craft Brew Alliance CEO Terry Michaelson called the company’s new gluten-free brand, Omission, a “game-changer”, he wasn’t kidding.
