Evans Brewing to Distribute Core Brands to Colorado

Southern California craft beer producer Evans Brewing Company, publicly traded under the stock symbol “ALES,” has finalized an agreement for its core year-round branded packaged beers to be distributed in Colorado. The distribution agreement with New Age Beverage, LLC will bring the company’s year-round offerings – Pollen Nation Honey Blonde Ale, The KrHOPen India Pale Ale, Oaklore Brown Ale, and ChocoLatte Chocolate Porter – to retailers across the state.

Pink Boots Society Elects Laura Ulrich as New President

Laura Ulrich, Small Batch Brewer at Stone Brewing, has been elected president of Pink Boots Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in the brewing industry. She replaces founder Teri Fahrendorf who is stepping down in order to focus on her family and her career at Great Western Malting. Fahrendorf will continue to be an integral part of the organization.

Utepils Brewing Begins Construction on New Facility

Residents of North Minneapolis in the Bryn Mawr, Harrison and surrounding neighborhoods are now seeing the transformation of the former Glenwood-Inglewood bottling plant into Utepils Brewing Company. Plans for the European-inspired craft brewery were approved by the City of Minneapolis in early April.
