On Friday, June 3, Good People Brewing Co., the oldest and largest brewery in the state of Alabama, and Buffalo Rock Company, an innovator and premier provider of beverages since 1901, will begin selling Buffalo Rider, a shandy using Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale. This summer, Right Brain Brewery will expand its packaged product offerings and launch many of its popular brands in 12 oz bottle six-packs. Previously, Right Brain only offered its products in 16 oz cans, 22 oz bottles, and on draft. The first two brands to hit shelves are Cake Walk vanilla cream ale and Blue Magic lavender ale, and they are scheduled to be available in retail stores in late June.

O’Fallon Brewery, one of the largest and first craft breweries in the St. Louis area, has collaborated with Fitz’s Bottling Company to create Fitz’s Hard Root Beer. Fitz’s Hard Root Beer is brewed and bottled at O’Fallon’s new 40,000 square-foot Maryland Heights, Missouri, brewery. The beer is brewed with malted barley, caramel malt, hops and yeast. During the final stage of brewing, a special blend of Fitz’s Root Beer made with all-natural pure cane sugar, sassafras roots, vanilla, and a spice blend is added to capture Fitz’s distinct and creamy flavor.
Widmer Brothers Brewing has released its summer seasonal beer, Hefe Shandy, a tribute to the ritual of adding a lemon to the rim of the brewery’s flagship beer, Hefeweizen (Hefe).
