Following the July Fourth weekend, Karl Strauss Brewing Co. will send its first shipments of Red Trolley Ale and Tower 10 IPA into Northern California, marking the first time in the company’s 23-year history that its beers will be available for regular distribution outside of Southern California.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the world’s biggest brewer – Anheuser-Busch InBev – is close to inking a multi-billion dollar deal to purchase Grupo Modelo, the makers of Corona. The deal is estimated to cost AB InBev $12 billion. The company already owns 50.2 percent of Modelo.
