A Redhook Brewery employee is in critical condition after an exploding keg sent the worker to the hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” according to the website for the Portsmouth Press Herald.
The worker was reportedly cleaning the keg when it exploded.
The brewery has since closed the brewery’s ‘Cataqua Pub’ for the remainder of the day and all brewery tours have been cancelled.

UPDATE – 12:00 p.m. Seacoastonline.com is now reporting that the brewery worker died from injuries related to the exploding keg.
