Two Beers Brewing Releasing Day Hike Summer Ale

SEATTLE  Two Beers Brewing Co is excited to mark the return of hiking season with the release of its Day Hike Summer Ale! A crisp summer ale with 4.1% ABV and 45 IBUs, Day Hike offers hints of lemon and grapefruit with a subtle hop bite, making this seasonal a great addition to your day pack, and perfect for enjoying at the top of a hard earned summit. To be released at The Woods tasting room on Thursday, May 11, Day Hike will be available on draft and in six-pack boxes with a new look – but same great beer – through the end of August.

“Everyone at the brewery lives for the summer and the chance to get outdoors – it’s what we do,” said Joel VandenBrink, founder & CEO of Two Beers Brewing Co. “This beer is our ode to that. The chance to spend a Sunday up in the mountains. And at the end, there’s nothing like pulling a Day Hike or two out of your pack to enjoy with friends.”

With six-packs available for purchase to go, Day Hike will also be available on tap with three limited edition infusions: Tangerine, Double Dry Hopped with Citra and Mango. Try all four in a special Day Hike flight!

In addition to 12 taps of beer and 12 taps of cider, The Woods tasting room is the perfect place to grab all you need for the perfect day hike or overnight. Pick up a six-pack, a Discovery Pass, hiking books, dog leashes, Stanley growlers and more. The Woods also acts as a hub for Back40 Outfitters – a Seattle-based rental company with kits packed with all the essentials you need for backpacking and camping – who will be onsite beginning at 5pm on May 11 with their backpacking kits to answer questions about gear, hikes, rental procedures and more.
