The result is a roasted caramel and molasses nose with a rich brown head. Brewed with Cascade hops, this limited edition beer offers a 12.4 ABV and 60 IBUs, sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit. With only 75 cases available, craft beer lovers can stock up and check a few people off their holiday list starting this Friday, December 16 at 3pm when Overhang hits taps and shelves at The Woods tasting room in SoDo.
Two Beers Brewing – and its fast-growing hard cider brand, Seattle Cider Company – have been sold to the Agrial Group, a leading French agri-business cooperative that does business across the beverage, dairy and food industries. Official financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction closed earlier this month, according to Joel VandenBrink, the founder of both companies.

First brewed in 2009, Fresh Hop enters its eighth season on the brewery’s fall lineup – with a twist for 2016! Previously available in 22-ounce bottles, Fresh Hop IPA will now be available in 12-ounce cans and on draft. Winning first place at the 2015 Fresh Hop Festival in Yakima last year, this celebrated hyper seasonal will only be around through the end of September.
Seattle-based Two Beers Brewing, which also owns Seattle Cider Company, today named Braam as its new president. Braam, who first began working with Two Beers in 2011 on a freelance basis, joined both companies full-time last January as their director of business development and marketing.
