Sprecher Brewing Claims 6 Medals at U.S. Open Beer Championship

GLENDALE, WI — Cheers to Sprecher! Following closely on the heels of winning ten (10) medals at the 2012 Los Angeles International Beer Competition, Sprecher Brewing Company won six (6) medals at the US Open Beer Championships and the distinction of being the 8th best brewery in a tough competition. It was the only Wisconsin brewery to make the Top 10.

“This competition is significant because it accepts entries from breweries around the world and allows national winning homebrewers to compete, “said Dow Scoggins, director of the U.S. Open Beer Championships.

More than 1,650 beers were submitted in 65 different categories from international breweries and award-winning homebrewers.
