In early January 2016, Burial Beer Co. announced their plans for second brewery also located in Asheville, NC and plans for a new side project. The brewery, which opened in 2013 with a one-barrel system, quickly outgrew the home-brew size brewery into a ten-barrel operation. Now having just celebrated their third anniversary in June, the brewery will expand distribution outside their home state.

Indianapolis brewery Flat12 Bierwerks is excited to announce the mid-July release of the limited edition brew, Pinko!. Additionally, the fan favorite, Russian Imperial Stout (10.5% ABV | 86 IBU) is now available in 8oz stubby cans– a craft beer industry first. This epic stout is released only twice a year in limited quantities. Once in mid-July for their annual Christmas In July tapping event and once in November for their Black Friday barrel-aged beer roll.

Big Storm Brewing Company, Florida’s fastest growing craft brewery, announced the official release of Categories 1 through 4 of its Belgian-style Hurricane Series. Released in conjunction with the Atlantic Hurricane Season, each offering is named for the different levels defined by the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, based on a hurricane’s sustained wind speed. Beer production has officially begun at 7 Seas Brewing’s new facility in Tacoma with the release of their new Water Chopper Gose. The newest of 7 Seas Brewing’s five canned offerings, Water Chopper Gose, will be available beginning June 17, 2016 throughout Washington State.

W.M. Sprinkman Corporation, a third-generation family business providing sanitary, stainless steel processing solutions for the craft brewing industry, is moving its Wisconsin-based company headquarters and manufacturing operations to a new facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Sprinkman will transition operations from Franksville, Wisconsin to a plant in an industrial park south of the Waukesha County Airport by fall of 2016 following renovations at the site. The company will maintain its production facility in Elroy, Wisconsin, which has been part of the corporation since 2000.

Lumberyard Brewing Company is proud to release its first can in their Sawtooth Series – High Water Imperial IPA. This Imperial IPA is all about the hops! Brewed as an exaggerated version of Lumberyard Brewing Company’s Flagstaff IPA, this beer has a higher hop bitterness that is counter balanced by the additional malts, giving it a big, yet drinkable flavor at 8.5% ABV and 100 IBU.
