FORT COLLINS, CO — New Belgium Brewing is pleased to announce the promotion of long-time sales team member, Bubba Speed, to Central Division Sales Director. Speed started with New Belgium in the Liquid Center Tasting Room 12 years ago and has moved up the sales ranks serving as Ranger and Area Manager in Portland OR, Area Manager in the Upper Midwest and most recently as Regional Sales Director overseeing MI, MN, WI and ND. In his new role as Central Division Director, Speed will oversee sales team and distributor efforts in CO, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI and WY. His responsibilities will include talent development, building distributor partnerships and Market and Branding Development.
“It’s an honor, privilege, and responsibility to take on this new role and I will be treating it as such,” said Speed. “My obligation and commitment to the team is to ensure we stay on course while continuing to rise to new heights as we fulfill our 2020 mission and beyond.”
Speed is backfilling the role recently vacated by Michael Corrigan who has moved into the new position of National Field Sales Director. Speed will remain located in Madison, WI.
