Markem-Imaje launches small character inkjet printer which streamlines printing and simplifies set-up as well as message editing while reducing ink waste for craft brewers running less than 2 shifts per day.
04/07/2017. Markem-Imaje will reveal an inkjet printer capable of simplifying printing operations for small-scale craft brewers at the Craft Brewers Conference in Washington DC on 11th -13th April 2017.
Touchscreen based, icon driven and using Markem-Imaje’s standard inkjet interface, the 9410 allows operators to switch easily between production runs for different customers, avoiding the need to manually key in commands and minimizing human errors. Completely self-contained, the 9410 has an innovative system that allows for up to 20% ink savings. Cartridges clip into place with ease, which helps eliminate installation errors when fitting new cartridges.
The 9410 is easy to install and integrate into production lines, as it has been designed to fit into place without the need for any adjustments when used with production line equipment from SKA Fabricating, Codi, Leibinger US, Pack Leader USA, In-Line Packaging, Combi, Van Zyverden and ABE, among other industry providers.
The printer uses the same design, messaging management system and operator experience from the 9450 version – deployed for large-scale beverage manufacturers who need to coordinate numerous production lines located across multiple sites. In addition to familiar user interfaces which minimize operator training requirements, printer brackets are universal across the entire range, which allows the 9410 to be easily interchanged. This avoids unnecessary changes to printing systems and costly infrastructure modifications when brewers increase their printing capabilities to meet increased production. Additionally, Markem-Imaje sets itself apart from other printer manufacturers by providing finance and trade-in options to help brewers take the next step in their growth.
