Green Bench Brewing Begins Construction on Tasting Room Expansion

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Green Bench Brewing is proud to announce the start of construction of an expansion adjacent to their original building that will increase production, and focus on the brewing of sour and wild ales. This expansion will provide space for a state of the art tasting room, cellar space, additional fermentation capabilities, as well as an increased communal space to allow Green Bench Brewing to better serve individual needs.

Green Bench Brewing will be investing $3.4 million in infrastructure, equipment and personnel. The additional staffing will enable Green Bench to provide even greater customer service, education, and the ability to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding and evolving craft industry. “This expansion has been a long time coming, and is imperative for us to continue to meet the needs of our customers. The expansion includes tripling the current beer capacity, increasing the size of the Mead and Cider project by ten, a dedicated 3,716 square feet to a temperature controlled cellar space which will house up to 700 barrels. Additionally, a CFT Canning Line capable of 100 cans per minute, Centrifuge, more foeders for a drastic mixed culture production increase (100x increase) and will provide space for a tasting room totaling in 2,596 square footage which includes two floors, and covered patios all dedicated to the production and retail of sour and wild ales.
