Concrete Beach Brewery Releases New Orleans Inspired French-Style Saison

MIAMI – Inspired by New Orleans’ vibrant heritage, Concrete Beach Brewery is releasing Miami Gras, a French-style Saison that fuses the eclectic cocktail culture of Bourbon Street and the culmination of diverse communities that come alive during the season of Carnaval in Miami.

Miami Gras is a dry yet fruity beer brewed with orange-blossom honey and juniper berries, and has notes of pepper, citrus and spice. Just in time for Mardi Gras, the celebratory beer pairs perfectly with feathered masks, sparkly beads and the sounds of trumpets in the French Quarter – or bass on the streets of Wynwood. Miami Gras Honey Juniper Saison will be available in cans and on draft for a limited time only at the Social Hall, as well as at World of Beer, The Butcher Shop, 305 Brews, Vintage Liquors, Milams and Total Wine.

Ingredients and Stats:

  • Malt: Euro Pils, White Wheat, Flaked Oats
  • Hops: Galena, Tettnang
  • ABV: 7.2% Alc./Vol.
  • IBU: 25
  • Other Ingredients: Orange-Blossom Honey, Juniper Berries

“Miami Gras is a beer that’s all about having fun and letting the good times roll,” said Marco Reyna, head brewer for Concrete Beach. “The juniper berries that flavor this beer are a nod to gin, one of the most popular spirits in New Orleans, and I think fans will enjoy celebrating the end of Carnaval season with this cocktail-inspired beer.”

The launch of Miami Gras is just the tip of the iceberg for Concrete Beach, who will be hosting a big Miami Gras street festival in front of their brewery on March 4th. The event will be a celebration inspired by Carnaval and Miami’s robust international culture. Stay tuned for future event details!
