Catawba Brewing to Release Small Batch Raspberry Wheat

Morganton, NC — Catawba Brewing taps a Small Batch Raspberry Wheat (5.0 percent ABV) on Thursday, August 3, at all locations. Brewed in their Asheville pilot brewery, this summer thirst-quencher was conditioned on 92 pounds of fresh raspberries. Brilliant pink in color, the appearance gives away its bright fruit flavor and aroma. The beer finishes with a hint of sweet balance to its gentle tartness, like a real sun-ripened berry.

Raspberry Wheat is a fundraiser for Asheville’s Kyle Milligan, who was seriously injured in a hiking accident on July 12. The brewery will donate $1 from every pint sold to assist with his medical expenses and rehab. Join Kyle’s friends and family at Catawba’s Asheville South Slope Tasting Room on the release day at 6pm for a special event in his honor.
