Boston – The results are in from the first round of brewbound.com’s ‘Brew Madness.’ The field of 64 has been cut in half. 32 breweries will be moving on to the second round. Round two voting will begin Monday march 21st at 12 ET and conclude at midnight March 22nd.

A final list of winners and losers can be seen below but a few of the notable match ups included Odell’s 90 Shilling Ale edging out Abita’s Purple Haze by 2 votes, Cigar City Brewing advancing to round two over Sweetwater Brewing by four votes and Dogfish Head with the largest margin of victory over Red Hook, securing 86% of the vote.
