Carmel, IN – SteadyServ Technologies, the first data-as-a-service company for the draft beer market, today announces the addition of Meagen Anderson to the company’s executive team as its new vice president of global sales. Anderson will drive new business initiatives and sales strategy for the company, with the goal of widening SteadyServ’s customer base for its patented data platform.
“We pride ourselves on being a team of beer lovers who are catalyzing a shift in the industry that we are passionate about, and Meagen embodies that same spirit,” said Steve Hershberger, SteadyServ CEO. “Her deep knowledge and relationships in the industry make Meagen a major asset to our team – we’re excited to see her in action.”
Anderson began her career at Boston Beer as a sales account manager before ascending the ranks to the role of beer education manager, in which she wrote multiple courses and modules that impacted more than 7,500 Boston Beer distributor sales representatives and retailers. Relocating from Boston to Carmel, Ind. to join SteadyServ, Meagen will lead a robust sales team, implement new sales processes and spearhead the strategy for entering into new markets including Europe.
“I’ve spent much of my professional career studying, learning, and selling beer, and I’ve never seen a potential industry disruptor like SteadyServ,” said Anderson. “The technology they’ve developed is priceless for retailers of draft beer and I am thrilled to help take the sales operations to the next level.”
SteadyServ’s sensor technology tracks and analyzes real-time beer data, minimizing waste and generating valuable insights for owners, buyers and servers. As a 2015 Red Herring Global Winner, SteadyServ can be found in retailers across 14 states, with plans to aggressively increase the number of domestic and global retailers in 2016.
