Four local breweries have come together to brew a collaboration beer with proceeds going to charitable organizations. Double Nickel Brewing Company of Pennsauken, NJ is launching a new annual initiative, teaming up with Cape May Brewing Company (Cape May, NJ), Tonewood Brewing Company (Oaklyn, NJ), and Urban Village Brewing Company (Philadelphia, PA) for an inaugural charity brew, a “Pot-Luck Style IPA” called “Friends Giving”, releasing November 8th.
Urban Artifact, Cincinnati-based craft brewer and Ohio’s sour brewery, announced the return of their Trick or Treat mixed pack for Halloween in an entirely new format, cans! Urban Artifact is giving adults a chance to, once again Trick or Treat with a mixed 12-pack of cans. Inside the 12-pack is a mixture of six different beers and each is a unique mystery flavor. The mystery flavors will be split between beers that are “treats” and beers that are “tricks.”

Coors, the grandson of Adolph Coors and heir to the family brewing business, died at his home, according to a statement released by Molson Coors. “Our company stands on the shoulders of giants like Bill Coors,” Molson Coors president and CEO Mark Hunter said in statement.
