Westbrook, Maine-based Mast Landing Brewing Co. will open a new tasting room in South Portland by the end of the year, the company announced last week.

Westbrook, Maine-based Mast Landing Brewing will transition from Night Shift Distributing (NSD) to Homegrown Distribution (HGD) for its Massachusetts distribution, effective October 16.

Mast Landing Brewing Company is in the midst of a big upgrade, one that will increase production capacity from last year’s 4,500bbl brewed to a potential 11,000bbl this year. Night Shift Brewing’s recently launched wholesale operation, Night Shift Distributing, has signed its first four craft brewery partners. Announced Wednesday, the wholesaler wing of the Everett, Massachusetts-headquartered craft brewery will begin selling products from Pipeworks Brewing Company (Chicago, Illinois), Magnify Brewing (Fairfield, New Jersey), Mast Landing Brewing Company (Westbrook, Maine) and the Reinheits Boten Group (New York importer of German beer) in early April.
