Just in time for the Holiday Season, we are excited to change things up with a Belgian style white IPA. Focused on delivering complexity with a blend of Belgian Yeast strains and traditional West Coast hopping. This will be the closest thing we Californians get to a white winter…and we like it that way!

For this Scientific Series brew, we threw the classic blonde ale for a loop. Aging a clean, easy drinking blonde in French oak rosé barrels for over 18 months with two species of brettanomyces yeast? Yup… that’ll do it.

The Surfrider Foundation is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the ocean, waves and beaches. In 1991, a handful of passionate people met in Ventura to establish one of the first local Chapters for Surfrider. Over the past 25 years the Ventura County Chapter has worked on a number of coastal issues with a longtime focus on protecting Surfer’s Point in Ventura. From water quality testing to beach cleanups to bringing down a dam, Surfrider Foundation volunteers do their best to protect and enjoy the coast, now and for future generations.

Named after the term used for a surf chick, Wahine, the strawberry version of their seasonal wheat beer has become a fan favorite.
