Surf Brewery Releases Seasonal Kettle Sour Brown Raspberry

Ventura, CA:  Surf Brewery, a small commercial craft brewery, celebrating almost six years, with an onsite tasting room and homebrew shop, announced that they are releasing their latest Seasonal, an American kettle sour – Brown Raspberry.  Foam Board™ series, was the introductory ‘tart’ version, the Surf Sour Seasonal is much sourer.  Brewed as an American Brown Ale to provide a malty backbone, then kettle-soured a little longer than our tart series.  Fresh raspberries were added in the fermentation stage to provide even more complexity.   This is the next stage in reaching pucker nirvana.  Alcohol by Volume 5% Bitterness (IBU) 9 Color SRM 24
