New Belgium’s first company-owned restaurant — located in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood — will open Friday, April 9.

On the verge of Night Shift Brewing Company’s ninth anniversary, the Everett, Massachusetts-based craft brewery is investing in its first “real advertising campaign.”

Hard tea and wine-based spritzer producer Loverboy is attempting to split from its Massachusetts wholesaler, Chelsea-based Night Shift Distributing, according to documents filed with the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.

Night Shift Brewing is now available throughout the entire state of Maine. The expansion occurred after the brewery initially launched in the state with a focus on Portland and surrounding areas. Based on early success, they decided to make their beers available throughout the state.

Night Shift Brewing Company will temporarily close its Lovejoy Wharf location in Boston. The last day, for now, is set for Saturday, January 23, and the reopen date is still to be determined.

Night Shift Brewing is headed to Pennsylvania — just not with as big of a splash as the Everett, Massachusetts-headquartered craft brewery had once hoped.

Nearly nine months after announcing their plans for a new $12 million brewery and taproom in Philadelphia, the founders of Everett, Massachusetts-headquartered Night Shift Brewing today announced they have abandoned the plan and reached an agreement with their landlord to terminate the lease on the 130,000 sq. ft. facility.

A growing number of beer companies are now positioning themselves as beverage companies. Count Everett, Massachusetts-based Night Shift Brewing among those embracing the distinction.
