In an effort to help wholesalers, retailers and consumers better understand the differences between a growing number of hard ciders now being sold across the country, the United States Association of Cider Makers (USACM) today unveiled its first-ever set of style guidelines.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has announced the release of Bold Rock Apple, its flagship style, in a new package offering – 15 pack, 12 oz cans with a new creative design. Available in October 2017, Bold Rock will become the first hard cider company to release 12 oz cans in a 15-pack format. The illustrated packaging captures the essence of Bold Rock’s commitment of treading lighty, using locally sourced fruit, and a nod to the founders’ inspiration for establishing a craft cider company.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has announced the return of its popular fall seasonal Bold Rock Blood Orange. Available on shelves in September, Blood Orange blends the crisp taste of hand-picked Blue Ridge Mountain apples with a burst of refreshing citrus from fresh blood orange juice. Bold Rock’s award-winning craft cider is now distributed in 10 states in the Mid Atlantic Region.

Bold Rock Hard Cider is pleased to announce a new chapter in the evolution of their Nellysford Cidery Campus – the Bold Rock Barrel Barn. The Barrel Barn is in fact a rebirth for their humble first production facility which allowed the Nelson County based craft beverage producer to embark on a path towards hard cider dominance throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

The seeds were sown for this collaboration beer in the fall of 2014, when Catawba Brewing Co-Owner Billy Pyatt had a chance encounter with John Washburn, Co-Founder of Bold Rock Hard Cider.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has announced the launch of a the first seasonal for 2017, Bold Rock Citrus. This is the first seasonal Bold Rock has released in 2017. Bold Rock – with local production facilities in Nellysford, VA, and Mills River, NC, – is expanding its roster of locally crafted hard ciders, which are now being distributed throughout the East Coast from Pennsylvania through Georgia.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has announced the launch of their newest fall and winter seasonal, Bold Rock Blood Orange, to be released November 1. Bold Rock Blood Orange is a blend of blood orange juice and locally harvested Blue Ridge apples, featuring the light and refreshing apple cider finish that Bold Rock devotees have come to expect coupled with the crisp tartness and tangy citrus brightness of blood orange.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has announced plans to begin selling its award winning craft cider in Georgia on August 1. The award-winning regional craft cidery’s variety of hard cider styles can currently be found across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast from Pennsylvania through South Carolina, including Tennessee. The expansion into Georgia comes via Atlanta Beverage Company, Eagle Rock Distributing Company, and Leon Farmer & Company.

Bold Rock Hard Cider announces the widespread release of its new spring seasonal, Honeydew Cider. This limited release, made with locally picked Blue Ridge apples and infused with the bright flavors of real honeydew melons, is now available on draft and in six packs where Bold Rock is sold.
