Learn about, and taste the 6 most common off-flavours that occur in beer. Three are brewery-related and three are service-related.

Taste these 6 off-flavours alongside a control, and learn where they come from and how to prevent them!

The six off-flavours covered in this class are DMS, Diacetyl, Acetaldehyde, Trans-2-Nonenal, Lightstruck & Infection.

Familiarization with common beer off flavors is an important key to success on the Certified Cicerone Tasting Exam.

At each class, six different common off flavors will be tasted. You must be 21 years old to attend. The seminar lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

The tasting is geared towards the off flavors tested on the Certified Cicerone exam, but is open to anyone 21+ who is interested. Off flavors presented will be LightStruck, DMS, Diacetyl, Trans-2-Nonenal, Infection, and Acetaldehyde.
