Hopworks Releases Latest Single Hop Ale Series Beer

Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) today announced the release of Organic El Dorado Single Hop IPX. The beer is the ninth bottled release in HUB’s IPX Single Hop Ale Series, providing drinkers an educational celebration of hops for more than three years. El Dorado IPX is available on tap and in 22oz bottles in both Hopworks’ pubs and throughout the Northwest.

AMBA is a nonprofit trade association of 82 US malting, brewing and distilling companies that provide funding for the development of new barley varieties and evaluate new selections for their suitably in the US.

In four short years, Red Hare Brewing Company has gone from the kitchen stove to a newly expanded 17,000 square foot brewery in Marietta, GA. At their current production, Red Hare has become the third largest craft brewery in Georgia and in the top seven percent of the 4,000+ craft breweries in the United States today, according to the Brewers Association.

IRI: Craft Sales Up 18 Percent in 2015

Another year of double-digit craft beer growth is in the books. According market research firm IRI Worldwide, craft volume sales in key U.S. retail channels grew 18.8 percent in 2015 while dollar sales grew 23.4 percent, to more than $2.9 billion. Total category-wide beer sales, meanwhile, were up just 2 percent in 2015 while total MULC dollar sales eclipsed $33 billion, according to the firm.

The news comes less than four months after it was announced that Anheuser-Busch InBev would purchase the fast-growing Los Angeles craft brewery.

Jack’s Abby Expanding Distribution into NYC

Jack’s Abby Brewing is pleased to announce that, starting in April of 2016, the Framingham, MA based brewery’s beer will be available in bars and restaurants throughout Westchester County and New York City. Jack’s Abby will be expanding their distribution footprint with Remarkable Liquids. Excluding areas on Long Island, Remarkable Liquids currently distributes Jack’s Abby in all other counties in the state of New York.
