Creature Comforts Brewing Company collaborated with Brooklyn-based Other Half Brewing Company to brew a Baltic Porter named The King’s Ransom. This beer was packaged in 12-ounce cans and will be released on April 8 at Creature Comforts. The King’s Ransom is a strong, chocolatey Baltic Porter with a 10.2 percent ABV.

Deschutes Brewery will continue distributing in the St. Louis area, albeit with a new wholesaler, the Oregon-based beer maker announced today. The company has signed an agreement with Major Brands, the largest Missouri-owned distributor of wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.

Bold Rock Hard Cider announces the widespread release of its new spring seasonal, Honeydew Cider. This limited release, made with locally picked Blue Ridge apples and infused with the bright flavors of real honeydew melons, is now available on draft and in six packs where Bold Rock is sold.
Flat12 Bierwerks will release Hinchtown Hammerdown, a limited-edition, pilsner-style beer brewed in partnership with Verizon Series IndyCar driver, James Hinchcliffe. The collaboration beer is brewed every year for the month of May – which in Indianapolis, is all about racing.
