LARKSPUR, CA – Marin Brewing Company announces the release of their latest bottled beer, the Orange & Black Congrats Ale. Conceived to celebrate the San Francisco Giants and their quest for another WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, Marin Brewing Company’s Orange & Black is a hoppy black ale.
Tangerine zest is added to the conditioning tank to complement the citrusy hops added to the kettle. Orange & Black defies its appearance, with a smooth, refreshing, hoppy character, while avoiding the smoky and roasty flavors of many dark ales Go Giants!
Sister brewery, Moylan’s Brewing Company, began bottling their own version of Orange & Black in the Spring. Giant’s mega fan and brewery owner, Brendan Moylan approached Marin Brewing Company’s brewmaster, Arne Johnson to make his own rendition of the beer. Arne, a baseball fan himself, had no trouble answering the call for a celebratory ale! Marin Brewing Company now offers it’s fabulous tribute ale in 22oz bottles in CA and OR.
