Stowe, Vermont — Von Trapp Brewing (vTb), founded by the family that inspired, “The Sound of Music”, is pleased to present the release of their Austrian inspired lagers to the state of Maine beginning March 28th.
The Austrian-Style Lagers are brewed with their pure Vermont spring water and the finest traditional ingredients. Following the family heritage the brewery incorporates the German Beer Purity Laws; “Reinheitsgebot” while crafting their unique lagers. vTb’s current distribution footprint is Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and now Maine.

vTb has partnered with Pine State Beverage Co. of Gardiner for distribution in this exciting launch. In spring of 2015, vTb’s 36,000-square-foot brewery began packaging 4 year-round lagers; Golden Helles, the two-time award-winning Bohemian Pilsner, Dunkel, and Vienna Style, also 3 seasonal; Oktoberfest, Trösten, and Weissbier. With summer fast approaching, von Trapp Brewing will release its 4th seasonal, India Pale Lager; A floral hop experience supported by the complexity of its lager. The brewery has the capacity to produce up to 30,000 barrels of beer per year.
Currently the Brewery is built and operated on the 2,500 acre grounds of which is also home to the Trapp Family Lodge. The Trapp Family Lodge is a unique, four-season resort specializing in European-style accommodations and cuisine, spectacular mountain vistas, upscale amenities, and outdoor activities.
