TRVE Brewing to Release First Spontaneous Beer

DENVER — TRVE Brewing will release Wavering Radiant – described by TRVE as an “American Young Spontaneous Ale” – from their Broadway taproom on Saturday, December 2nd at 12pm. Wavering Radiant is TRVE’s first ever spontaneously inoculated beer to release from the Acid Temple (TRVE’s sour and wild ale facility).

“Wavering Radiant is an unblended, one-year old spontaneously fermented ale inspired by young lambic beers,” said Zach Coleman, Head Brewer. “This beer was fermented (and refermented in the bottle) only and entirely with microbes caught overnight in our coolship. This beer was made with processes slightly different from our more traditional batches of spontaneous beer, which are still aging/fermenting in wood, and is meant to be a window in to what we have coming down the line from our spontaneous program.

“I’ve been wanting to make spontaneous beer since we started making sour and mixed-culture beers in 2013. It feels like a natural progression and is one I am excited to explore in more depth in the coming years.“

Wavering Radiant will release solely at the TRVE Brewing taproom. Just over one thousand 500ml cork and capped bottles will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

About TRVE Brewing Co.

TRVE Brewing Co. is an award-winning brewery founded in the historic Baker neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.  Since its inception on the summer solstice of 2012, TRVE has been a staple of the Denver brewing scene focusing on sessionable and crushable beers presented through the filter of a heavy metal aesthetic. TRVE has set itself apart from the typical experience found in the craft beer community with a wholly unique taproom, in which their original three barrel system resides. In the spring of 2015, TRVE began brewing at the Acid Temple – a ten barrel production facility dedicated to mixed-culture fermentation and experimentation.
