Chicago, IL – Following the successful launch of its online store in Europe, Petainer is now rolling out its webshops in the United States. The East Coast online store can be found at and the West Coast store can be found at

The two stores make the petainerKeg™ and accompanying accessories readily available to customers in the U.S, including craft breweries, wineries, cideries and cold-brew coffee makers that wish to purchase smaller quantities of Petainer’s market-leading petainerKeg™.

The petainerKeg™ is an increasingly popular alternative to traditional steel kegs, thanks to its lower total cost of ownership, logistic benefits and standard fitting Sankey D tapping components. Visitors to the online stores can select, pay and schedule delivery of their kegs all from within the website. Visitors to the site can also request a sample keg to be shipped to them at no charge.

Initially, Petainer is making its 20 Liter (1/6 barrel) and 30 Liter (1/4 barrel) petainerKeg™ available for purchase in this way (available in pallets of 80 kegs and 48 kegs respectively). The Classic petainerKeg™ with accompanying box and USD (UpSide Down) version of the petainerKeg™ are all available online.

Marc Kibbey, executive vice-president, North America, Petainer, said: “North America is a strategically important market for Petainer and we are seeing a lot of demand for petainerKeg™, particularly from breweries, wineries and cideries. Our online store will help us drive growth by offering our customers another choice when it comes to trying our product.”

Nigel Pritchard, CEO of Petainer said: “The roll-out of the online store in North America is an important step in our distribution strategy. In addition to building our network of distribution partners, our on-line channel makes our market-leading products available to smaller businesses efficiently and effectively.”

Petainer’s online stores are powered by Shopify and supported by existing distribution partners G3 Enterprises on the West Coast and ProStar Distributing on the East Coast. Customers do not need to have an account or pay a joining fee.
